Advice Services Manager Immigration
Shaina Gabi is currently the Advice Services Manager for Immigration at Citizens Advice Edinburgh. Our recent work in developing the immigration service has led to the organisation becoming the first CAB in Scotland to be accredited to IAA Level 2 Immigration, ensuring free accessible immigration advice to safeguard migrant rights.

Your contribution helps us provide vital services to communities across Scotland, strengthening our network and ensuring we can continue to support those who need it most.
Our volunteer advisers are trained in a wide variety of topics, to ensure they can provide holistic advice and support. This includes being trained to IAA Level 1 Immigration and Asylum.
Scotland’s Migration Service
Scotland's Migration Service, is funded by The Scottish Government and provides information and advice on a range of issues to help people move and settle in Scotland including visas and immigration, employment, housing and benefits, to name a few.
The following client groups are eligible for an appointment either in their local CAB Edinburgh office, or by booking directly online at Scotland.org
People who live in Scotland and have limited leave to remain or enter the UK
People who have lived in Scotland for less than 24 months
People who have studied at a Scottish college or university as an international student in the last five years and want to move back
People who live elsewhere in the UK or overseas and who have a job offer in Scotland and want to move here
People who live elsewhere in the UK or overseas and who want to join their close family member who lives in Scotland
