Receptionist - Gorgie/Dalry Bureau

(Tuesday Afternoon and/or Wednesday Afternoon)

Responsible to

Manager, Gorgie/Dalry Citizens Advice Bureau

Specific tasks

  • Welcome clients attending bureau
  • Obtaining client details prior to interview
  • To manage client waiting times and expectations
  • To make appointments and mark accurately in appointments book and electronic system
  • Manage interview room use and availability in conjunction with advisers
  • To identify and provide leaflets
  • Other administrative duties

Skills required

  • Good customer facing communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, remaining calm
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
