Welfare Rights Specialist – Universal Credit Help to Claim Service (full time paid position)

A unique opportunity has arisen to join the team at Citizens Advice Edinburgh (CAE) and help us deliver our Universal Credit – Help to Claim Service.

We are looking for volunteers to become a telephone appointment assistant for our Dundas Street bureau. Telephone Appointment Assistants are our front line contacts - answering our busy appointments line and dealing with a range of tasks such as: managing clients’  waiting time and expectations; making appointments with both generalist and specialist advisers; taking messages for staff and specialists, and a range of other administrative duties, including acting as relief receptionist.

Administrative assistant - (Volunteer role, Dundas Street Bureau)

We require a volunteer administrative assistant for our Dundas Street Bureau on either Tuesday or Wednesday. Initially, we are looking for someone to work a minimum half day session per week, although the role may expand. The role involves working with our administrator and team of advisers and other staff. It will not involve face-to-face contact with clients.
