Bureau Receptionist

Providing a compassionate first contact for our clients

We require a receptionist and appointment assistant for our Leith bureau.

Tasks include:·        

  • Welcoming clients attending bureau

  • Obtaining client details prior to interview

  • Managing clients’ waiting time and expectations

  • Making appointments

  • Managing interview room use and availability in conjunction with advisers

  • As well as other administrative duties

Skills required:·        

  • A sympathetic and friendly manner

  • Good customer facing communication skills

  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills

  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Commitment - Flexible hours. Friday afternoons (12:30 - 4:00) particularly needed.

Induction details - All volunteers receive an induction from a named contact person.

Location – 23 Dalmeny Street, EH6 8PG

Expenses details – Public transport expenses will be paid (receipts required).
