New Advice Service at the ERI & WGH
Welfare Rights & Health Project
@ Edinburgh Royal Infirmary & Western General Hospital
Our new advice service at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and Western General Hospitals has launched!
The Welfare Rights & Health Project is a partnership between CAE and NHS Lothian which brings advice into the acute sector.
Our Adviser will offer the same broad range of free, independent, impartial and confidential advice which is available in our bureaux.
If we can’t advise you on your issue there and then, we will refer you to a specialist who can.
The advice service is open to everyone at the two hospital sites - patients, visitors and staff.
Our Adviser can meet with you on a ward, at the patient information centre, or wherever is private and convenient for you.
To make an appointment call or text: 07766 718 263 or call into the patient information centre.
Our Adviser will be based at the ERI on Mondays & Thursdays, and at the Western General Hospital on Tuesdays & Fridays.
If you require assistance out with these times it may be possible to arrange an appointment.
If you are a patient who is discharged from hospital our Adviser will also be able to link you with local services that can help with any ongoing issues.
